www.professorgarfield.org is an excellent kids’ site with many activities which demand critical thinking: Reading, math, science, history, music, and art. This site has the sci-fi graphics and sounds that appeal to today’s students.
www.spellingcity.com makes spelling the weekly wordlist easy and fun. GREAT tool for parents and teachers, and fun for kids. Put in your own wordlist and teach kids to spell the words by playing online spelling games, spelling reviews, and spelling quizzes (grades K-8).
