If you are interested in taking the CNA course through SWTC this summer, please talk with Mr. Williamson
Attention 9th through 11th graders. If you'd like to take a dual credit course this summer please get the paperwork from the Chieftain Corner Rack or Mr. Williamson.
Attention 8th graders: Today at 1:00 you will go to the Little Theater for a presentation about the holocaust. You are not allowed to bring your phones to the presentation so please put them in a safe spot before heading to the theater.
The freshman class has a meeting during advisory in the little theater on Monday, April 28th to discuss the upcoming bake sale and next year's homecoming theme. If, you can not make the meeting please see Mr. Wermich.
Attention 7th-12 grade boys and girls basketball players: We will once again be hosting Pure Intensity Basketball for a skills development camp. The camp will be held on Wednesday, June 11th at the RES. There is no cost for Riverdale Basketball players. This is a great opportunity to experience a high level camp at no cost to you. Sign up forms are located in the Chieftain Corner rack and can be returned to Coach Kinyon.
Riverdale will be celebrating Earth Day on Friday. We will be running a modified early release schedule. Your clean up crew will be your advisory class, so after 8th hour head to your advisory. Each group will have student leaders that will show you your designated area and read the rules for the day. Remember, the maximum weight a single item can count toward your total weight is 5 lbs. In other words, if you pick up a 200 lbs tractor tire, it will only count as 5 lbs toward your group's total weight. This rule has been implemented to keep groups from seeking out only large items and skipping cardboard and other lighter trash. Sadly some very large items may have to be left behind. The group with the highest total weight will get a pizza party paid for by the Science Club. Mr. Van Epps class will be waiting for us back by the dumpsters to weigh and tally the total weight of your group's materials. Remember to be respectful of private property and watch for cars, let’s have a safe fun day!
Happy Birthday to Jackson Bomkamp & Elaine Olson today!
