The Board of Education will modernize programming and educational spaces to maintain and enhance excellent educational opportunities for students.
In April 2021, the Board of Education sought funding through an operational referendum on the April 6, 2021 ballot to address budget shortfalls, sustain educational opportunities for students and improve learning environments. The operational referendum that the voters approved provides:

2022-2026 - A total of $700,000 is requested for the first 5 years:

2027-2040 - After five years, the amount requested drops to $315,000 per year for the remaining 14 years, to pay debt only.
Riverdale Junior/Senior High Renovations & Addition
The approved referendum also provides funds to support facilities improvements:

4-classroom addition with lockers and two restrooms

Agriculture classroom addition with two restrooms

A new secure entry with added windows for natural light

Renovated section of the library to create a Junior High common space

Renovation of the original Agriculture classroom to become a new Art room

Removal of current lockers in the main hallway to widen the space

Renovated office spaces to provide two restrooms accessible to the public

Installation of new ventilation in the current Agriculture classroom

Renovation and ADA code compliance for two existing restrooms
