We strive to build meaningful relationships, provide opportunities that inspire confidence and independence, and support every student in reaching their full potential.
I am incredibly proud of the strong support our community continues to show our schools, most recently through the successful passage of the operational referendum in spring 2025. This investment allows us to sustain and enhance the high-quality educational experiences our students deserve, both in and out of the classroom.
Riverdale is also home to the top agricultural education program in Wisconsin. This distinction reflects the dedication of our staff and students, as well as our community’s deep-rooted commitment to excellence and innovation in education.
On a personal note, I take great pride in leading the Riverdale School District. I have not only served here as a teacher, administrator, and parent, but I am also a proud alumnus, graduating in 2001. This year marks my 20th year in education. From 2019-2024, I had the honor of serving as Principal of the Junior/Senior High School. Prior to that, I worked as a 5th grade math teacher and Dean of Students at Riverdale Elementary for five years. Earlier in my career, I taught reading and math in the Wisconsin Dells School District for eight years.
Beyond the classroom, I have been actively involved in our extracurricular programs, serving as head wrestling coach for nine years and coaching baseball and football. My wife, Katie, is a Kindergarten teacher at Riverdale Elementary, and our three sons—Eli, Luke, and Noah—are proud Riverdale students.
Being selected as Superintendent is both an honor and a responsibility I do not take lightly. For more than a decade, I have had the opportunity to work alongside outstanding students, families, and staff who make Riverdale such a special place. I am proud of all we have accomplished together and look forward to continuing to advance our district as we build an even stronger future for our students.
